Originally manufactured under military contract by Flambeau, and intended to store old-school circuit cards and computer modules. Hard-knock-proof molded plastic on the outside. Soft impact-absorbing foam on the inside. Very simple construction, with no latches and a friction seal. But top and bottom could easily be strapped together for a more secure hold during long-term storage.
