SportDOG Brand TEK 1.5 GPS Tracking & E-Collar Training System

Whether you’re running hounds, beagles, or bird dogs, the SportDOG Brand® TEK 1.5 allows you to track and train with confidence. And now it's also compatible with TEK Series 2.0 Collar Receivers (not included). By using HopTek^TM technology, the Collar Receiver reports the location, direction, and status of up to 12 dogs (requires additional collar purchase) in a 7-mile range, all viewable on the Handheld Device’s LCD screen. The built-in GPS antenna in the Handheld Device receives and displays location updates from from the GPS antenna mounted on the dog collar. The collar receives location data from both GPS and global GLONASS satellite navigation system for even greater accuracy.

Tracking

Get instant feedback on your location and your dog's location from the handheld device display. A black crosshair (+) in the center of the display marks your current location. Dogs are marked by a direction arrow showing their direction of travel, or an octagon if the dog is on point, or has treed an animal. If you set a starting point, it appears as an X on the tracking display. Active way points are marked by their respective number. The upper portion of the screen also displays your respective status, current map scale, and compass direction. A table on the lower portion of the screen shows the status of the first three dogs being tracked. You can track a dog by the color of its assigned collar, see the type and level of stimulation, and the distance of each dog from your location. Press the left or right arrow on the Menu Selection Pad to manually adjust the scale from 100 yards to 75 miles, or set the scale to automatically adjust to keep your dog(s) on the display.

Training

The TEK 1.5 Tracking/Training System comes with the E-Collar Module to give you full training capabilities. This waterproof DryTek^TM Module easily connects to your dog's GPS Tracking Collar to let you correct misbehavior from up to 7 miles away. Train remotely using 99 correction levels with vibe and tone options—plus continuous, momentary, or rising stimulation modes. The training screen displays the stimulation button settings for your active dogs, each appearing in its unique collar color. Easily adjust the intensity level and user-defined stimulation buttons on the side of the handheld device.

Training settings include:
• CONTINUOUS STATIC STIMULATION: Applies continuous static stimulation for up to a maximum of 10 seconds
• TONE STIMULATION: Sounds an audible tone on the E-Collar Module
• VIBRATION STIMULATION: Causes the E-Collar Module to vibrate
• MOMENTARY STATIC STIMULATION: The E-Collar Module delivers static stimulation for 1/10 of a second when this button is pressed.
• RISING STATIC STIMULATION: Static stimulation rises from the current level to the maximum level when this button is pressed and held.
