The M24 Aircraft Mask was originally designed to protect the wearer against ABC (Atomic, Biological, Chemical) threats, particularly within the confines of a plane cockpit. Compatible helmet and hood are NOT included, but you do get the anti-glare outsert, useful for operations in bright sunlight as the normal anti-glare visor built into the helmet would not have been able to be used with the gas mask on. A must-have collectible for any chemical weapons, military aircraft, or Cold War/Korean Conflict collections!
