This Weapon Sling was originally designed for use with the legendary SAW light machine gun. Nylon shell over a steel cable core is very tough, not to mention heat-resistant to prevent failure near a hot barrel. And the super-sized shoulder pad is intended to deal with serious weight, since the M249 is up to 22 lbs. fully loaded. A great military collectible, but also a cool starting point for lots of custom tactical carry solutions.
