Springfield® XD(M)® OSPTM 4.5" Full Size 9mm Semi-automatic Pistol
The XD(M) offers the best ergonomic experience possible in a polymer platform. With multiple interchangeable back straps, it can be perfectly tailored to fit your hand. It points effortlessly and naturally, and the aggressive mega-lock frame texturing keeps the XD(M) in your hand and operational under any condition.
Of course, like all XD Pistols, safety features come standard…like the loaded chamber indicator, grip safety, Ultra Safety Assurance Action Trigger System, and internal firing pin block. Add in more XD(M) features like the (M)atch grade barrel, (M)inimal-reset trigger, and (M)ajor grasp slide serrations, and you're looking at the next step up for the already-excellent XD Series.
The XD(M) OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) takes it a step further by allowing the attachment of popular red dot optics directly to the pistol with no custom modifications. It features a milled slide and 3 adapter plates that allow the direct attachment of your favorite optics. A matching cover plate provides a seamless slide surface when optics aren’t present. The OSPTM will ship with a cover plate along with 3 plate configurations that will support popular optics such as, but not limited to: #1 Plate – Vortex® Venom, Burris FastFireTM 2, Burris FastFireTM 3; #2 Plate – Leupold DeltaPoint®, Leupold DeltaPoint® Pro, JPoint® Sights; #3 Plate – Trijicon® RMR®.
