The Springfield Echelon 4.0C Comp keeps the key features of the full-size model in a shorter, more concealable package for everyday carry. A single port in the integrally compensated slide redirects gas upward to reduce muzzle rise and improve control. The Variable Interface System provides direct-mount compatibility with leading red dot sights, backed by tritium U-Dot irons, and the serialized Central Operating Group is housed in a compact frame holding 15 rounds flush or 18 rounds with the extended magazine.
