The Soviet SSh-40 helmet was one of the most commonly produced steel pot designs seen worn in World War II. This Cold War-era Romanian M73 reworks the SSh-40 for jump operations…providing the wearer with a compact rounded outer shell, enhanced ear coverage, and enhanced leather harness to stay put during drops behind enemy lines. An awesome piece to add to any Cold War or military collection. Great for reenactors, theatre or film wardrobe, too.
