Crafted with strong yet responsive 24-ton carbon fiber blanks and with Okuma's newly added UFR: Unidirectional Fiber Reinforcement. UFR technology adds a layer of of unidirectional fiber to the tip section in the Rod, resulting in a 3X increase in strength and lifting power in the tip. Plus, UFR acts to fortify the tip against breakage when casting heavy lures or putting hard hooksets on big pike and musky right near the boat.
