The FreeLiteTM is a semi-freestanding Tent designed for backpackers who want to make the most of their 3-season adventures without being weighed down by gear. 6-oz. lighter than the previous FreeLite model, it still has the true rectangular floor without a foot taper and 39"h. headroom (3" more than the previous model).
The micro-mesh Tent body provides excellent ventilation and stargazing opportunities. And no-curve door keeps you from having to crawl over your camping partner in the middle of the night, plus features a zipper that is easily closed with just one hand. It also zips closed to a single point, so you always know where to open the door, even in the dark. New tech-friendly pockets have cable ports at the corners for headphone and charging cords. Overhead gear loft pockets are perfect for headlamps, sunglasses and other quick-access items.
Super strong DAC NFL poles, a DuraShieldTM waterproof coating and taped seams keep the weather outside where it belongs. And cut-away rainfly saves on weight, plus features a large vestibule for storing any gear you don't want inside. The vestibule door also has StayDryTM rain gutters to keep water from dripping onto you and your gear when you enter and exit the Tent.
