Marlin® Model 1895 SBL .45-70 Gov't Lever Action Rifle Manufactured from 1895 to 1917, the original Marlin Model 1895 is one of the most beloved lever guns of all time. Now, under the tutelage of legendary firearms manufacturer Ruger®, Marlin is reintroducing the iconic Rifle for a new generation of shooters, with modern features and modern MOA accuracy. Built around a nickel-plated, spiral-fluted bolt and robust action that can handle the hottest 430-grain .45-70 Gov't loads, the Model 1895 SBL delivers big-game-dropping performance and the reliability you need when you're up close and personal with dangerous game. The 19.1" cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel delivers MOA accuracy, and the adjustable ghost ring rear sight and always-on tritium fiber optic front sight give you the tools to put your shot right where you want it. The integrated Picatinny optics rail allows for easy optics mounting. The barrel is threaded with an 11/16x24 TPI pattern to accommodate a muzzle brake or other accessory, and comes with a match-polished thread protector. Finished off with an oversized lever loop and slim forend for easy operation and maneuverability, the new Model 1895 SBL is the ultimate lever gun for the modern cowboy.
