This #8 stainless steel grinder plate is made to LEM's stringent standards for hardness and quality. It is hubless so it can be used on both sides, and it is highly resistant to rust. This 12mm plate is the coarsest grind option, perfect for the first grind, coarse chili, and stew meats. Each plate is 2⁹⁄₈" (2-3/8") in diameter with 12mm (1/2") plate holes, and it is made from premium Salvinox stainless steel, a higher grade of stainless that runs slightly thicker for a longer life of use.
