At the heart of the pistol is a 4.09" barrel that is fully fluted, crowned and ramped. Kimber's proprietary bore sizing process delivers match-grade accuracy with every pull of the trigger.

Kimber's engineers specified 7075 aerospace-grade aluminum—the finest material in the world for the purpose on account of its exceptional strength, corrosion resistance and smooth finish—to develop the frame. The front and back straps feature a fully integrated cross-hatch textured design that flows with the grip to deliver superior ergonomics. The stainless steel slide is finished in KimPro black for superior corrosion resistance, and features an optics-ready milled slide that accepts mounting plates for micro red dots.

The magazine release is reversible for left and right-handed shooters. A crisp 3.5-4.5 lb. trigger pull comes standard as well as (2) 15-round magazines which anchor the KDS9c as the premier personal protection platform that enhances your ability to defend yourself no matter the situation.
