It's all the fit and feel that upland hunters love with a rubber/EVA "traction tread" sole. The EVA midsole is cushioning. And the durable rubber outsole provides max surface contact and "best" resistance to abrasion, chemicals, gas, heat, oil, and overall slipping. And of course, you have ASTM-rated non-metallic safety toe protection.
