If you haven't experienced the clarity of CHIRP, you've no idea what you're missing. Garmin® ClearVü scanning sonar gives you a nearly photographic, wide image of what passes below your boat. You'll get better separation between structure, submerged objects and fish. Traditional Garmin CHIRP sonar and CHIRP ClearVü scanning sonar are combined into one transducer.

CHIRP technology gives you a higher level of clarity and detail than your standard 77/200 kHz inducer. It does this by sending a continuous sweep of frequencies, from low to high ranges. It then interprets these different frequencies upon their return to the STRIKER Vivid 7cv. Because different frequencies are used, the information you receive gives you a crisper fish arch with greater target separation.

Constructed with a high-sensitivity GPS it quickly and accurately pinpoints your location and then continues to track your motion around the lake. This features allows you to mark your waypoints to return to the exact spot over and over again. You can also keep track of docks, ramps or even your favorite watering hole on the lake. To return to any given spot, simply select the spot you wish to return to, and follow the route provided. Plus, it'll also give you the speed and direction you're currently heading in.
