The Garmin LiveScope 2 LVS42HD Transducer gives anglers ultra high-definition live sonar views that make it easier to track bass, walleye, crappie, lake trout, and baitfish in real time at castable range. With improved target separation and high-definition imagery, anglers can see fish, structure, bottom detail, and lure movement with the clarity needed for forward-facing sonar tactics like casting to suspended fish, vertical jigging, drop shotting, and watching fish react to a bait before setting the hook. The LVS42HD delivers highly detailed imagery at castable distances and bottom tracking out to 125 feet, while wider viewing angles in Forward, Down, and Perspective modes help cover more water around the boat. Fast processing speeds show fish reactions in real time, and the no-black-box setup simplifies installation for compatible Garmin systems. An automatic sonar shutoff feature turns the sonar off when the transducer leaves the water, adding smart protection during trailering, storage, and setup.
