Modeled after CVA®’s top-of-the-line Accura® V2, the Optima® V2 Rifle features the same trigger-guard actuated breeching lever, internal parts, and trigger. This is the LR "Long Range" model, so it comes with a premium 28" fluted stainless steel barrel. Add in CVA’s Quick-Release Breech Plug (which is finger removable), 100% ambidextrous stock, and a CrushZone recoil pad, and you’ve got a gun with more quality features than any other muzzleloading rifle in its price range. This model comes with a Konus Pro-275 3-9x40mm Scope that was designed specifically for muzzleloaders. The Ballistic 275 reticle, coinciding with the most popular black powder loads on the market today, provides you with a system of reference lines for exact aim points from 75 to 275 yards. Lateral hash marks allow for precise leads on moving targets as well as compensating for strong crosswinds.
