High-level competitive shooting used to be for the well-to-do…but not anymore. The Canik TP9SFx is an outstanding race gun that's well within reach of every shooter. And it's loaded with the kind of features you'd find on expensive pistols. The frame features aggressive grip texturing along with fully ambidextrous controls and a flat trigger that breaks clean at 90°. The trigger is set right at 4 lbs. from the factory, and needs just 1.3mm to reset.

The slide is equally impressive, boasting deep serrations to help make racking easy under the stress of competition. It's ported on the underside, and features lightening cuts on both sides to help reduce reciprocating mass. Up top, a fiber optic front sight and metal adjustable rear sight help you get on target quickly.

But the most impressive thing about the Rival might be everything else you get. For starters, it comes topped with Canik's own Mecanik M02 Reflex Sight, featuring a 3 MOA red dot and aggressive serrations.
