Unlike the welded steel models of yore, this Jerry Can uses a lightweight, yet super-strong HDPE (high-density polyethylene) that's easier to carry, yet resists bumps and thumps on the trail like a champ. Fun Fact: A "CA POL" Jerry Can is a military-style fuel or oil container. The "CA" stands for Canada, while "POL" is a military acronym for petroleum, oil, and lubricants. The yellow strap identifies this Can as being intended for diesel fuel. Each of these Jerry Cans once contained diesel fuel, but have been washed out so thoroughly you might not even notice(we're even allowed to ship them normally).
