The ZEISS LRP S5 features premium SCHOTT glass, highest-quality lens coatings, high-powered magnification, and a first focal plane reticle in perfect harmony, brought together with precise German engineering to be one of the best long-range Scopes in the world. The 5-25x magnification range covers almost every hunt imagineable: 5x to survey the mountainside, 25x to dial in on the finest details at the longest distances before you take the shot. The 56mm objective lens guarantees a nice, bright sight picture.
SCHOTT high-definition glass produces 90% to-the-eye light transmission for excellent target resolution and exceptional clarity in all light conditions—even twilight. And since deer move at dusk, being able to pick out tines in the dying daylight gives you a huge advantage. The T* 6-layer light transmission coating guarantees maximum color rendition and image brightness—so the views are always vivid, colorful and true to life. And because the weather isn't always ideal, ZEISS outfitted the LRP S5 with their innovative LotuTec coating, which enables a clear and unhindered view in all weather conditions, rain included.
For long-range hunting and shooting, the LRP S5 features an astonishing 40.7 milliradians of elevation travel to help you push your rifle to the very limit—up to 1,500 yards and beyond, right out of the box. Highly repeatable and tactile turrets provide precise adjustments to make the most out of every opportunity.
More on the ZF-MRi (#16) illuminated reticle
The ZF-MRi smart reticle was designed with professional input from active competitors, long-range hunters and instructors. The MRAD-based reticle incorporates a tree-style primary structure with useful hash marks, dots and reference points—all in an uncluttered design that allows you to focus on your target. The points of aim and holdovers are represented in 0.2, 0.5 and 1 MRAD increments, and even numbers are displayed for fast and intuitive visual reference. And because the reticle is on the first focal plane, all reference points are useful at every magnification.
