Rated 3 out of 5 by Bill from USED TO BE BETTER I recently purchased these for an AK-74 that was blowing primers on Hornady ammo due to punctured primers. With the 5.45x39mm Military Classic the primers were backing out (only when the gun is dirty). Apparently, the sealant on the primer and bullet are no longer a part of the Military Classic concept (see photo, the red colored sealant that I once found on 7.62x39 Military Classic is not on these primers or bullets). WPA pulled a fast one on me. Keeping the Romanian 74 clean seems to help. I don't think it has been shot much. An AK will work dirty, right? Mine doesn't. Can't speak to the accuracy of the round as I am still learning to shoot the 74. Only had one for about six weeks now. I did get a group 6" wide by 3" high with this ammo resting my elbow on a post at 50 yds but I wasn't steady, reliability was good on that day. Sorry I'm not a long time shooter of the 74 and can do you no better.
