The Model 94 was a favorite among settlers and cowboys making their way west, which is why it is often called "The Gun That Won the West." (Only Guns)The Winchester 94 30-30 is a fantastic and truly high quality made rife. The 24 inch barrel makes for outstanding accuracy out for longer ranges than the 20 inch barrels. Ran 100 round through it with 50 rounds of junky type wolf ammo and 50 rounds of the best of Winchester ammo. No hiccups at all except for my new rifle being filthy dirty and fouled due to that wolf ammo. The the 4 pay plan is indeed fantastic. Just wish they had more guns are availiable than ones being listed as sold out.

Sharp shooting and smooth action, never better... all ways a good thing operating that lever brings me back to every reason why i just think the Winchester 94 is the best thing ever.. if your a fan than you know....It's a Winchester.... don't care about what year it's made it's all about thrill every time that you get from every movie or time you operated the lever "fantastic" .... looks good.... fit and finish just great!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Old cowboy from John Wayne would be proud Browning now makes all the Winchester rifles and they do a heck of a good job, I have an original 1956 Winchester model 94 and this one, they actually did improve it but didn't take away anything. It smooth and accurate and easy to throw a scope on.

I got my first pistol at 7 years old and was taught gun safety that burns in my mind. I am not a hunter or prepper, I do believe in my 2nd amendment rights. I have many new guns but the Winchester 30/30 I have wanted for a long time. After firing the rifle at the range without a scope which I intend to purchase, I was amazed how smooth the rifle fired at 100 yards and the accuracy was better than any of my other rifles. I now wish I had purchased it before some of my other rifles, makes me want to buy a cowboy hat, boots, and a horse to be a kid again. I am totally in love with this rifle.
