This SP16 SPAX(Special Purpose AXe) Knife is a military-issue "crash axe," designed for breaching and escape from a downed aircraft. The unique rounded head can puncture thin aluminum hull similarly to a giant can opener. On the opposite side of the head, a sharp pick can be used to smash through tougher materials, as well as provide an easy pry point.
To further enhance its survival capabilities, the SPAX has a built-in multi-function wrench capable of opening/closing the tamper-resistant valves on fire hydrants, as well as gas main valves. A great tool for escaping an emergency scenario, or for apocalyptic urban survival.
