Rated 5 out of 5 by TxWanda from Try them outGood shirt for a good deal. They are a little thin being a wool blend however, the moisture wicking capabilities and odor control make up for thinness. I like them a lot and will be purchasing more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bobcat_pass from winter base layer - wool materialSince I am allergic to wool I wear these as an insulating "wool" base layer over the fire resistant short sleeve T-shirt and a DRIFIRE long sleeve "T-shirt." This combination seemed to work pretty well in shoveling the snow off the driveway. The "wool" shirt is warmer than the other two T-shirts...also wool is the most insulative material available when wet from sweat or melted snow. Then I didn't need a heavy sweatshirt. I could also put a regular office shirt over all this and stay warm going to the store and church and such. Since the colors are mostly a "grey" doesn't attract a lot of attention.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bobcat_pass from Very warm T-shirtVery good for winter layering, seems to wash OK and large enough to wear over long sleeve T shirt. Fire resistant is a "plus..." unobtrusive color will match just about anything. Due to being wool might be best to dry on a coat hanger. Wool is warmest material when wet and I am going to sweat shoveling snow and such.
