The U.S. Military MSS (Modular Sleep System) is a legendary piece of surplus equipment, enjoyed by budget-savvy campers, hunters and outdoorsmen for generations. The real innovation is the 2 bags: Typically labeled "Patrol" and "intermediate", these components can be used on their own or snap-fastened together to create a single super-strength Bag. You can leave whatever components you don't need back at home, saving you weight and bulk. Good for your back on long hiking trips, and convenient for getting the whole crew's hunting gear stuffed into the back of the truck. Made to military specs, pre-tested by troops, with plenty of life left for many warm nights ahead.

4-component sleep system includes:
• Patrol Sleeping Bag, comfort rated down to +30ºF
• Intermediate Mummy Bag, comfort rated down to -10ºF
• Breathable GORE-TEX® 100% waterproof Bivy Cover
• Stuff Sack (may be various colors, no choice)

Features:
• Rugged ripstop nylon shell (in both bags)
• Polargard HV resin-bonded polyester fill (in both bags)
• Use either Bag separately, or combine into a single super-warm Bag (rated down to -30ºF)
• Bags snap together for secure fit
• Rugged military-grade zippers (on both bags and Bivy) zip securely, yet easily pull apart in an emergency
