The T3x: Smart Upgrades Front to Back

At its core, the T3x is the same rifle you know and love. It's still built around a premium Sako barrel and extremely rigid two-locking-lug bolt, and it still features that awesome adjustable trigger. But pretty much every other aspect of the T3 was considered for improvement—and the result is a Rifle that's just plain better out of the box.

At the top of the list is the new extra-strong steel recoil lug that resists deformation better than the alloy lug of old. Similarly, a new metallic bolt shroud covers and shields the rear of the bolt body and firing pin, adding some robustness. The ejection port has been widened to make it easier to feed one round at a time, and to alleviate any potential FTEs. The T3x models have extra screw placements on top of the receiver so that you can attach a Picatinny rail—even when using larger scopes.

Last but certainly not least, the stock has been totally overhauled to provide enhanced modularity and better grip. The pistol grip features a new asymmetrical grip pattern and shape that has been designed to deliver solid hold in all positions and in all weather. The pistol grip is now interchangeable, so you can swap it out for other grips (sold separately) if you so desire. Completing the package is a more robust recoil pad, which helps you fully concentrate on the accuracy of your next shot.
