Rated 4 out of 5 by Larrybomber from They WorkI always like to have at least 2 extra range mags. These look just like the factory original but they do no have the white out on the main body like the ones that came with the pistol. They fit and load fine. Glad I have some spares now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scott from Quality Mag @ Great $I purchased 1 of these mags for my 809 Taurus and it fit just as good as the mags it came with. No problems with failure to engage, cycle/eject; both dry & live fire. Not saying anyone is wrong, just be sure mag u purchased is for the pistol you own. I've always got high quality from Taurus for the 20+ years I've owned one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Brian from The two I bought have defectsI purchased 2 magazines. Both of them in the original unopened packaging from Taurus. I open both and slid one into the mag well. The fit was tight and I had to use more effort than normal to click it into place. The slide locked back and I unlocked it and attempted to eject the mag. It did not want to eject and took some effort to get it to eject. Then like a idiot I tried the second mag. Same thing but it took longer to eject the mag. 20 minutes and some sore fingers later I got it to eject. The mag release button had to really be pressed to release the mag ( actually had to use an Allen wrench). . Sending these back, I hope it is just a bad batch. I love this gun and hope Taurus fixes this issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mark from Dissappointed on ingaging clipSoon as the Taurus 809 9mm Mag arrived ,I Cleared my Fire Arm and slid the new Mag in. Disappointment #1 was the mag would not lock into place and continuously slip out. So I had to TAP it in with my palm. It Locked in place. LITERALLY!!! Disappointment #2 When I pressed the release button . The Button would NOT budge, nor would the Mag! Even when I removed the receiver and barrel and push down through the top the Mag would Not Budge. I toke the two halves to our indoor shooting range WHOM sells Taurus Pistols. After 15 minutes Mitch finally forced the Mag out. Placing it side by side the my original Mag We learn the New Mag is just a finger nail shorter and caused enough tension to freeze/lock the Mag tightly. Pensacola Indoor Shooting Range Kindly Offered AND Returned the Mag to Taurus In south Fla. For Exchange. Its been one and a half weeks now and I'm still waiting on the return Mag. I'm ONLY greatful that I didn't meet a Home Intruder and could NOT reload and loose my Life. Sign; Mark A. Bailey
