Rated 4 out of 5 by Sherry from Nice mittensBetter fit than military trigger finger, but index finger for trigger is uncomfortable when not in use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Greg from Will keep you warm but...Warm and comfortable. But wrist sleeves are a bit too long. They interfere with the sleeves on one's coat. Trigger finger is too big for most trigger assemblies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hpiguy from Seals out the snow and wind! Size runs pretty small. They fit small and the finger hole is too short if you have big hands, BUT they do fit and if used as just a mitten are great. They can be locked together was well, making it hard to lose them. I tossed them in the truck for when I need a warm pair.I love the elastic upper wrist cover, keeps snow and wind out. These work well for snowblowing and shoveling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Matt from Solid Buy.Based on what other reviewers said, I ordered the XL and that was definitely the size to get. I have pretty standard L/M hands for gloves, and I definitely needed the XL, especially as I'm hoping to have a base layer glove on underneath. Gloves seem good, definitely mitts, I'm not sure what temperature they'll go down to but they at least look like they'll be good on their own into the low 20s or maybe tens. With a base layer on they'll get much lower. The price is wildly cheap.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Middle Outdoorsman from Not bad for the money, but two glaring issues. The good:Palms, thumb, and index finger seem to be made of genuine leather. Construction seems solid overall. All my fingers fit in the main hand area fine, and I can wiggle my fingers around without any constriction. I can use these as regular mittens and ignore the trigger fingers. The bad:Too small. For point of comparison, as US issue equipment goes, I wear a size 3 wool glove insert, and a size 4 work glove. These mitt's in XL fit me "ok" with a little (but not much) room to spare, particularly with the right mitten. The fit in the left is fine. Though neither fits my definition of an extra large mitten. The ugly:It is glaringly obvious that the left and right mittens are made by different contractors. The fit and lining on both is different. The tag on the left mitten is marked "04 Unger". The tag on the right mitten is marked "Tego 92". If I were to make a guess, id say that the left was made in 2004, and the right in 1992. See pictures. Note the linings on both.My conclusion:I recommend these only on two caveats: 1. If your looking for a low cost mitten, and don't care for a trigger finger, then these will work. 2. Unless your looking to get a pair for your kids, or maybe a wife with really small hands, get size XL.
