Snow Joe iON 18 40V Rechargeable Cordless Snowblower is rated out of 5 by 106.Rated 5 out of 5 by Benjamin from Great Snowblower - Great battery life I live in Chicago and have a house with a detached garage behind the house so my driveway is a little more than 70 feet long, and wide enough for about 2 cars in the back half. I have no problem clearing my driveway and sidewalk of 2-3" of snow on a single battery. That said, if you need to make a second pass later in the day you will need a backup battery. The snowblower works great, very easy to use, even with thick gloves on. The battery compartment is really the only problem, it doesn't stay closed. I easily fixed this problem by wrapping a bungee cord around it.Very nice not to have to worry about gas and maintenance. Used this snowblower for 2 winters and I've been so happy with it that I just purchase a Sun Joe Lawnmower.Date published: 2017-05-09Rated 1 out of 5 by Jimbo84 from Wet Snow No Go Very easy to set up and use. However, if you live in an area that has wet snow - it will not work. The manual states this; however, our kids - who purchased the product for us - did not know this. If you live in Colorado - pass on this one.Date published: 2017-04-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Toker from Best product ever! I bought this on clearance at walmart for 187bux the day b4 Nor'Easter Stella and it performed like a champ removing all the snow it dumped on us! I highly reccomend this snow blower!Date published: 2017-03-14Rated 4 out of 5 by JackStraw2017 from Tuesday is going to be the real test 8-12 inches of heavy wet snow predicted where I live in South Jersey. I have had the Snow Joe for a year and this is the first big snow I get to test it on. I know it struggles with wet snow. I'm going to try to get out there about 8am while it's still snowing to try to move some of it before it's done in the mid afternoon. I wish it was a powdery light snow with higher accumulations.Date published: 2017-03-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Bob Col from Snow Blower I got my Snow Joe snow blower 2 days before we had a 7" heavy, wet snow. I really had my doubts, but it was Snow Joe or a shovel. At my age, I picked the snow blower. To my surprise, it worked terrific. One touch of the button and it was ready to go....it cleaned the front of my house down to the pavement without a problem. I did use some silicone spray on the chute, but this is a terrific machine. No more gas, oil or pulling a cord. I would definitely recommend this snow blower. It is also very light and easy to maneuver.Date published: 2017-02-24Rated 5 out of 5 by FlashG from Great snowblower! My hubby is very happy with this snowblower. I bought it as I thought it would be easier to handle and being cordless was an extra bonus. He has used this tool extensively this winter and is amazed at what it can do. He has several gas snowblowers from small to the large power-steering snowblower which is needed when we have a heavy snowfall. He has been able to clear the deck, sidewalk and driveway even when there is 6 cm of snow. Being cordless means not dealing with gas and having an extra battery ensures being able to finish the job. Excellent buy!Date published: 2017-02-15Rated 4 out of 5 by Racznos from Waiting for snow! Very easy to put together, would say less than 5 minutes. Very nicely constructed. Based on that 4 stars. If we every get snow and blower moves from my living room, I can re-evaluate and try for the fifth based on performance. So far very happy.Date published: 2017-02-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Mspohr from The little snow blower that could... I bought this to clear my front walkway. This year we've had an epic amount of snow but I've been able to keep up with it using this little snow blower. I appreciate the light weight. Battery life is good so I can finish the job with a single charge. Also very quiet even compared to other electric blowers. I appreciate the electrically operated chute switch and the light.Date published: 2017-01-12
