Rated 5 out of 5 by Jason from Great scope for the money! I had this scope on the rifle,sighted in and hunting with it within the first couple hours I had it. It's a little difficult to sight I unless you have a good rest but within 2 shots it was sighted in. The scope is excellent on a Moon lit night but I would recommend purchasing a seperate IR.

Didn't actually get to try night because of the shut off issue. Boxed back up and ready to be picked up to be returned to Sportsmans Guide.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bent Bow from Didn't know what to expect My first IR scope. Didn't know what to expect. Took some time getting use to the look and feel through the objective. Black & White. It WORKS!!!! Wow! I can see out 200-300 yards with it, although out to about 100 yards is best. While looking for HOGS, I saw the biggest buck we did not know was around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Charlie from Works well If you are hunting over a feeder or an open area, this scope works well. The IR is ok with a some what fuzzy image. I use a aftermarket IR which gives a clear image out to 300 yrds. Evolva Future Technology T20 IR 38mm Lens Infrared Light Night Vision Flashlight Torch. With the added torch, this unit will surpass most Gn 2 devices. I have taken several Hogs at night using this scope and torch. You will see the hogs eyes in thick brush before you can actually see the animal. The scope and torch combination works perfectly. Produces a black and white digital image. It requires 34mm scope rings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MillingtonMan from Nice Product The picture in the scope is black and white during the day and night. It looks basically like a view finder screen in a digital camcorder. It will not work without batteries. The cross hairs are digitally placed on the screen. There are two focus rings: one for the digital cross hair and one to focus the field of view. It takes only two AA batteries. The product works well during day or night. The only downside to this product is it is not left hand friendly for IR and menu adjustments (I shoot left handed). I wish they would have made it more ambidextrous. Use scope rings Item # WX2-612751. Definitely worth the money.Would have given it 5 stars if it was more lefty friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by wpmf from I see you this optic is a very fun and accurate addition to any firearm. the day and night funtcion are both black and white not color in the day. the scope features a lens cover with a small whole which allows day function, not shown in picture, burris pepr mount can be used in reverse if shorter eye relief is needed during mounting. the AA battery rocks compared to more expensive non rechargeable watch style batteries. very satisfied and as always sportsman's guide is there to help if needed.

Once mounted you do not have to remove for battery installation/change. This scope can withstand the recoil of the 30-06 or .270 because of its normal scope mounting method. Shock absorbing is done by the rings. This night vision scope can use standard &quot;High&quot; 30mm scope rings, and depending on if the firearm is equipped with an A-Frame fixed front sight post the scope may require a 1/2&quot; riser.
