The ROMEO-M17 features multiple reticles: a 2 MOA red dot for precision, a 32 MOA red circle for speed, or both the dot and circle at the same time. 15 brightness levels, including 3 levels designed for use with Gen 3+ night vision, give you the right reticle for every hour of the day. The glass is absolutely top-notch, the lens coatings are highly effective, and the clarity is second to none—no chromatic aberrations, no distortion, no "fuzz" around the edges. Just a clean view of your target.

The ROMEO-M17 is machined from 7075 aluminum, and features machined anti-reflection grooves on all rear surfaces for reduced glare. The side-mounted CR2032 battery compartment features a threaded battery cap and easily accessible design for easy battery changes without the need to remove the optic from your firearm. The ROMEO-M17 is gas purged and 100% waterproof/fogproof, submersible to 35 meters deep, and basically impervious to environmental factors because of its fully enclosed design—so you can count on it to keep on ticking through the worst conditions imaginable.

The ROMEO-M17 mounts from underneath the M17/M18's slide, re-using the MHS rear sight block and sight block screw. The Sight utilizes SIG's proprietary SIG-LOC mounting interface, and ONLY fits the SIG SAUER M17 and M18 military-issue variants (as well as the Commemorative model). Mounting is robust and rock-solid, with 2 recoil lugs that hold zero through regular abuse.
