Shadow Systems® MR920 Combat Optic-ready 9mm Semi-automatic Pistol

The MR920 is built using standard Gen4 Glock® 19 dimensions, but features across-the-board upgrades based on years of feedback. The result is a multi-role Pistol that uses standard G19 holsters and mags, but delivers enhanced performance in nearly every area.

The slide and barrel are machined in-house in Plano, Texas—not outsourced—for superior quality. The barrel is conventionally rifled 416R stainless steel with a super-hard bronze carbo-nitride finish, and comes threaded to accept a brake or suppressor. The slide is machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel and coated in nitride for superior corrosion resistance.

The slide features front and rear directional serrations that provide excellent traction when manipulating the slide, but are relatively frictionless when drawing the pistol from a holster. The MR920 features deeply recessed front serrations and corner chamfers, giving it a thinner profile for greater control and easier re-holstering, even in a partially collapsed IWB holster. This particular model features a slide cut-out that accepts a number of popular red dots.

The trigger is improved over a stock trigger, but leaves internal safeties fully intact and utilizes stock-weight springs. You can expect smooth take-up and a super-crisp break at 4.0-4.5 lbs. Like its predecessor, the MR920's frame features the NPOA backstrap system, which adjusts the angle of the backstrap to match the shooter’s natural point of aim. The pistol system includes 3 backstraps, a removable magazine well, and a backstrap removal tool for your convenience.
