The Secure Action is derived from the reliable and proven hammer-fired LCP II fire control system, combining the smooth trigger pull of the LCP II with the short, crisp feel and positive reset of a single action. The internal hammer provides strong ignition force yet allows for easier slide racking—and won't catch on clothes or holsters when drawn. The low-profile safety is likewise very unobtrusive on the draw, but is still very easy to operate. The contoured grip tucks nicely into your hand, giving you easy access to the trigger and mag release. The grip itself is what Ruger calls a medium texture…it's not too aggressive, but still easy to hold onto. And the kicker? We tried it out in a few Glock 19 holsters, and it fit beautifully.
