This Romanian Military M74 Gas Mask represents a design with a long record of service. Originally issued to troops of the Romanian People's Army while still behind the Iron Curtain, then adopted by the reformed post-revolution (1989) Romanian Army where it can still be found in use by some units today. An exact copy of the very popular German M65 mask worn by many Cold War-era military forces.
