Rated 4 out of 5 by BadBobTheAlbino from Nice Lightweight I finally got to shoot the .280 Rem. Model 700 Mountain Rifle & was not surprised when I got 1.5" three shot groups. Its light barrel heats up quickly but the first shot is what matters. My rifle arrived with a horrible 'adjustable' trigger but that was quickly rectified with an aftermarket spring. It also arrived dirty from being shot & not thoroughly cleaned. Factory testing? It was not 'growing hair' inside the barrel but copper streaks were clearly visible. Overall, I feel it is a fine lightweight rifle at a good price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Calapooia from Best deal I found This rifle is a great shooter..75 MOA groups with Barnes or Federal Trophey copper 140 grain Factory loads. Very comfortable to shoot with the recoil pad provided. I put a Leupold VX-2 3X9X40 with Leupold mounts and it's weight is7.4 lbs. Great value
