Rated 3 out of 5 by John from It works Attached a hinged lid to it. When I am not around I take the top lid off so squirrels will not chew a hole in it. I only put enough corn to last for a couple of days. The deer have found it. Need to regulate the time when there is corn in it. By the way the lid is held up by a small magnet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dutch from The plug in the lid comes out too easily We've got two on our property and both within days had some critter take out the plug in the center of the lid (and start gnawing around the hole to make it bigger). I like the fact it fits one whole 40lbs bag of corn (and I don't have to carry two bags out for each feeder)

Convenient and perfect for my needs...I feed deer as my pets, not for hunting and they found them quickly !!!! Need to buy more because only one deer at a time can eat from tis feeder....they fight !!! LOL
