If you're looking for a no-nonsense, high-value motor packed with high-tech features, then look to the all-new Xi3. Xi3 is the quietest electric steer motor in its class, so you'll get on top of those hot spots without spooking fish. You can feel the difference with its digital variable speed control. It offers a smooth ride, plus precise speed control from 0% to 100% throttle. Plus, the digital speed control extends the battery life up to 5Xs longer. MotorGuide's Digital Power Management technology uses state of the art components that run at lower temperatures, which means more thrust to the motor. And smart safeguards protect the motor when operating under severe conditions.
With the world class Pinpoint® GPS module, Xi3 lets you focus on fishing, while still taking advantage of GPS functions, like anchor, heading lock, route record and more. Take advantage of the MotorGuide® Handheld Wireless Remote and keep your hands tied up fishing instead of steering the motor. The lightweight, 4-oz. remote gives you ultra-precise command of your digital wireless motor from anywhere on deck. Easy-to-use stowing with MotorGuide's SecureStep system is safe and easy. It takes just a single step on the lever to release the motor from its locked position. Just step, raise, stow and go! And when you're on your way, 3-blade propeller offers maximum power and weed-busting toughness.
Tips for choosing the right trolling motor
How much power do I need?
-- A general guideline is 2 lbs. thrust for every 100 lbs. of total weight (boat, fuel, occupants, gear). If you fish in wind or strong current, add 10 lbs. thrust.
Determine Shaft Length
-- Measure from the top of the bow where the motor is mounted to the water line. Then add 20" to this measurement. The shaft length should be equal to or greater than this sum.
