Kel-Tec® KS7TM 12-ga. Pump Action Bullpup Shotgun

In 2011, Kel-Tec® released the KSGTM Dual-tube Bullpup…and completely changed the world of tactical shotguns. However, it did have one drawback: its hefty 11-pound overall weight. The KSG was unwieldy and difficult to swing in tight quarters, so Kel-Tec went back to the drawing board to create a slim-line version, and with that, the KS7 was born. It features just a single tube magazine instead of the dual tubes of the KSG, which helps bring the KS7 under control. When fully loaded, it's a couple pounds lighter than the KSG—which makes a big difference in handling, especially in tight quarters. The other new addition is the carry handle, which doubles as a channel sight. The carry handle features a fiber optic bead at the optimal height to catch your eye when you pull it to your shoulder.

In every other way, though, the KS7 is identical to its predecessor. It retains the KSG's bullpup configuration: by placing the action and magazine behind the trigger, overall length can be reduced without shortening the barrel. The KS7 is just 26.1" long, but features an 18.5" barrel—meaning you get "full-sized" ballistic performance in a shotgun that's just over 2 feet long. Like the KSG, the new KS7 can reliably cycle shells as short as 1 3/4" and as large as 3" with no hiccups.
