This Italian Police Motorcycle Helmet is a classic "pudding bowl" design, a style made iconic by its wide use in the 1949 Grand Prix World Championships. The design offers much less protection than today's modern full-face helmets, but does allow a full field of view, as well as unimpeded use of goggles.
This Helmet was originally manufactured back in the 1960s under Italian police contract, then stashed away in a warehouse without ever being issued. Sure to show some signs of long-term storage, but a great collectible from the period.
