What's the difference between G3 and G2 models?

The ICE HELIX 5 CHIRP GPS G3 supports a newer software version than the G2 model. This brings with it new ice features and performance improvements laid out on the following software update page: https://www.humminbird.com/support/software-updates/ice-helix-5-chirp-gps-g3-v-2-660 . Also, the CoastMaster product is not compatible with HELIX G2 models, but is compatible with HELIX G3 and newer models.
