Rated 5 out of 5 by tango down 123 from Extreem Long DistanceReally like the 6.5 Creedmoor. It's a pricey round but not one that you'll be burning through like a .22 or .223. Hornaday has figured out, using Doppler radar, that this round needed a stronger tip so it wouldn't deform at temperatures about 700 degrees and the old tips just weren't up to the task. The result us a fast, flat shooting round with good knockdown energy at long range. It also handles wind well. I hope more manufactures get on the 6.5 Creedmoor bandwagon so the price comes down, otherwise reloading is the way to go and there is a decent selection of cases, powder, primers and bullets for the 6.5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grangerman from As good if not better than hand loadsI sure the title will get the attention of you hand loaders. :-) I have always had great success with Hornady ammo. They shoot consistent and have never experienced a misfire. Sometimes you have to try different types of loads and bullets to get the best grouping. But once your on...your on.
