Acadia National Park, Maine…rugged and beautiful, with terrain as challenging as it is diverse. If you want to see everything it has to offer, you'll need boots that do it all. That starts with finest quality pebbled, full-grain leather, which we combined with nylon to form a light-but-tough upper. Then, we outfitted the upper with both a toe bumper and a rubber rand that wraps completely around the booth for serious protection from sharp rocks and thick briars. Even the highest quality hardware is included to endure the demands of serious hiking. And the heel-to-toe lacing…that's perfect for the best fit for YOUR feet.
Guide Dry® exceeds the industry standard for waterproof protection, even after prolonged exposure. The membrane has tiny pores that are small enough to keep water from getting IN but big enough to let sweat vapor OUT. Plus, these Boots have a moisture-wicking mesh lining that pulls moisture away. And of course the rugged uppers are also waterproof. So whether trekking through the rain to the trail cameras or working up a sweat pounding out chores in the yard, your feet stay dry all the way.
You're in control with the Vibram® Tsavo outsole
The 360º multi-traction lugs provide control and stability. There are also self-cleaning channels to ensure consistent traction. The toe and heel have large contact areas for grip, even on rocky surfaces…that undercut heel helps for secure braking, too. And the engraved shank helps grip uneven surfaces. All in a thin, durable design for lightweight performance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by rgoody from very good priceI work at a natural history museum doing maintenance work on the nature trail and the rest of the property. Ground surfaces include asphalt, carpet, woods and gravel. Boots are very comfortable and the waterproofing is great. The only complaint I have is the soles wore out in 6 months, this is only walking about 20 miles per week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by scott from Nice BootPurchased these about a month ago to just wear around etc., started to wear them to work on a daily basis. They are very comfortable, fit real nice and look great. I really like the vibram sole...tough as nails and great grip. The boot provides great ankle support and slip on easily. I only have one suggestion - beef up the laces, after a month of pulling them through the eyes they are showing wear i believe they could be a little bit thicker. Overall excellent boot well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BobberDown from 10 out of 10 ComfortBought for hiking. Turned out to be most comfortable pair of boots I have owned. The inside of the boot fits like a glove with a nice combo of soft padding and ankle support. Exterior is good looking weather resistant leather.
