Grand Power® P40L Long Slide 10mm Semi-auto Pistol

What is it about former Eastern Bloc countries that makes them so adept at creating fine handguns? We don't know the answer, but we DO know that the P40L is yet another awesome example of craftsmanship and innovation from Slovakian gunmaker Grand Power.

The P40L features the innovative rotary locking barrel system, which provides rock-solid, lightning-fast lock-up and helps take the punch out of the 10mm round. The 10mm is a ballistically superior round, but shooting it can be less than pleasant. The P40L makes shooting this powerful round as tame as shooting a 9mm.

The frame itself is CNC machined steel, with no MIM (Metal Injection-Molded) or cast parts, with a polymer grip that fits nicely in the hand. Controls are fully ambidextrous, so it's leftie-friendly. Oh, and it has one of the best DA/SA triggers we've felt this side of a thousand bucks.
