Golden Bear, 7.62x39, SP, 125 Grain, 20 Rounds is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tripod from Good cheap ammoReliable just like Brown Bear, only no laquer coating. Soft points do nick easy (they are really soft lead). Fairly accurate. Burns dirty like most Russian ammo, but non-corrosive. Feeds and extracts fine. Best steel case you can get (besides Silver Bear, really no difference there)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Swan from Best Quality Russian AmmoI've shot Bear ammo from Barnaul for many years. SG has best prices and selection by far. Silver- and Gold Bear don't need the lacquer coating so I prefer them but the Brown Bear does work just fine too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by biscuit985 from Dirty. But shot okWas in a horrible smoke cloud after a 3 round burst. Was accurate but this stuff is worse than tul ammo. Even shooting slower was still bad. Made me cough my guts out and want to vomit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by parnote from Excellent hunting round!I was looking for some ammo that I would enable me to use my SKS for hunting. This ammo fills that bill exactly. The soft lead point will provide great expansion. My FMJ rounds are for practice at the range. I'll save this stuff to use when hunting deer. Plus, it's a great value!
