Rated 5 out of 5 by eschrip from Good round, and no magnetic components I bought this so I could shoot a couple of my 7.62x39mm guns at my local indoor range. (In AZ, summer shooting out of doors can be draining). Since most budget ammo is either steel cased or steel center projectile, it kept my guns at home. With this, I can shoot at my range which restricts standard discount ammo. So I can shoot at a reasonable price, in a bit more comfort. Ammo shoots well and is fairly accurate.

I purchased this for my Mini-30, having seen and heard too many stories of inconsistent reliability when using the cheaper steel cased ammo for the Ruger. I know some folks have zero issues and other's have none, I wanted to remain in the latter category. The ammo arrived in a timely fashion, intact in its individual boxes with no loose rounds. It fed and functioned flawlessly from the factory magazines. The only issue I experienced with FTF was when using an aftermarket magazine (Pro-Mag) which was corrected by loading the magazine at one round less than capacity. I purchased 2,000 rounds of this and wish I had bought 5k instead.
