The Fingers Safe Opening System.

Each Fox Radius features the patented Fingers Safe Opening System for both fast one-handed opening as well as secure locking. To open, just push the thumb stud and pivot in a half-circle until the blade locks securely. To disengage and close, just push the stud again and rotate in the opposite direction.

High-performance PVD coating.

Physical Vapor Deposition is a process by which an extremely thin layer of material condenses under high-temperature high-vacuum conditions to form a protective film. The material is applied completely uniformly, with no build-up in corners or edges. Completely smooth, and very wear-resistant for demanding applications.
