Rated 3 out of 5 by Bnikm from Good but surprisedI have used this round with primarily white tail deer 180 grain TT in a .308. 3 deer all died very quickly and minimal tracking 10 to 30 yrds. However all shots were well placed and ranged from 30 to 170 yards....but two shots never passed through and left virtually no entry wound and zero blood trail. But at the end of the day all this were dead and in the freezer

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jeff Combs from Great penetrating powerI bought these special to hunt Russian Wild Boar on a trip. When I first got to the lodge the guide asked what caliber and bullets I was using. He told me he wasn't familiar with the round but it sound like it would be alright then started explaining to me that a huge part of the hunters that come to the lodge there would wound a lot of hogs. He told me how hard the boars were to kill and pretty much made them sound impossible to kill. I killed my 400 pound boar and had a complete pass going through both shoulders. Ever since then this is the round I use to hunt any species. I have never used a bullet that will hold together like this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by brandoned from Unreal PerformanceThe 180 grain Trophy Bonded Tipped bullet in 308 is hands down the best bullet I have ever shot. I have killed 2 deer with it this year and they both dropped dead in their tracks. My nephew and wife have both killed their first deer with that same rifle since then, same results. I wish I could find some in the 62 grain 223, because that would be a deadly round for a variety of things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dah90 from Deer Dropper!I bought this to go with my Ruger American Predator to hunt whitetail deer. This round performed flawlessly on each of the 3 deer that I killed this year! None of them went more than 20 yards before dropping if they moved at all! I will definitely continue to buy these for my hunting needs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mfisko from Amazing roundI used this round to take two large Alaskan bull moose and one grizzly bear in the fall of 2015. The results were the most amazing I've seen in my 23 years of hunting big game in Alaska. I will never use anything but these trophy bonded tips from now on. Very quick and humane kills.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KEVlar from Excellent for huntingI have taken 4 Blacktail Deer, and 3 Elk with this round. Only one of the Elk didn't drop in it's tracks after the first round, due to shot placement, not failure of the round. Very, very happy with this ammo.

Rated 2 out of 5 by EWR78 from Great for target, but that's it.Me and my wife used these rounds for the first time this season, mine in .308 Win and hers in .270. We shot 5 deer this season using this round with mostly disappointing results. First, all but 1 deer ran over 150 yards even when shot placement was perfect. 3 of those did not leave a blood trail for the first 100 yards. Upon inspection, both the entrance and the exit wounds of each deer were the size of the projectile meaning the bullet never expanded at all. One of the deer shot was shot in late afternoon with a few minutes of shooting light left. Shot placement was good but when we went to look for the animal, there was no blood whatsoever. We ended the search after an hour of finding nothing. Someone else happen to stumble across the animal a week later just 150 yards away with perfect shot placement, so meat was ruined because the round did not do what it says it was designed to do. I am extremely disappointed in these rounds and will not be hunting with them ever again and I suggest anyone else reading this does not either.
