Rated 5 out of 5 by NZuplander from NZ PheasantsHands down the best ammunition I have ever used on pheasant. Use a Rizzini in 20ga, I’ve shot birds with 2 3/4” #6 and also the 3” #4 and both fold birds perfectly. The #6 is ideal in the riparian zones over my pointer for the close work but would be happy pushing out the range after seeing the patterns, and the 3” #4’s I bought on sale and great for a bit of down range punch (shot a 32 bar rooster at a measured 47m with a Cyl choke last weekend). Patterns the best also, almost too good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Colorado birdhunter from Great late season loadThis is just an awesome load. It has lots of knockdown power and great distance. I killed a mature rooster at a pretty good distance on a second shot. I doubt that I could have made that shot with regular #5’s or #6’s.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Chad from Poor quality shotI done pattern testing and found it was great at 20 yards and wasn't any good at 40 yards due to poor quality shot that deforms easily, I found a flitecontrol was with most of the nickel plated shot stuck in the bottom all deformed into a glob of shot. Magnum shot would have been a better choice

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jim S from Good Rounds, Not Premium thoughThe 3" 20 gauge #4 lead, pattern great out to about 30 yards with my Tristar Viper G2 Silver with Improved Cylinder choke. No malfunctions at all, good hunting rounds. The problem I had with these shells is the crimp. About half of the 50 shells have a nice crimp, the other half are dished in with a hole in the middle. I didn't see any lost shot, but some rattle more than others. It seems if the payload is not consistent. For the premium price, for a premium shell, that problem needs addressed. All in all they still pattern well & I will still use them. If you look close at the picture of the yellow 20 ga. shells you can see what I mean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by techedjohn from Great ShellsPrairie Storm for pheasants doesn't get any better. The only problem is you do not want to shoot to quick. Make sure you let the birds get some distance or you will not have anything to eat. This is a great late season shell !!!
