Rated 5 out of 5 by winger from VERY CONSISTANT AMMO, VERY CLOSE STANDARD LOAD DEVIATION BETWEEN ROUNDS.I USED THIS AMMO IN RUGER 77, TO TAKE A 27" BULL ORYX @ 120YDS. HE WENT DOWN ALMOST TO FAST TO SEE. I'VE SEEN THEN GO DOWN, UP & RUN 100+yds, WHEN SHOT WITH 7MM REM MAG. I LOVE THIS LOAD.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shane76 from Mission AccomplishedDad, Now in his mid 80's, retired his old and reliable 30-06 rifle due to recoil. As the eldest member of our family hunting clan, I volunteered to help him acquire a new rifle. He wanted an old, accurate, non-synthetic stock rifle to use this deer season without fear of high recoil. Fortunately I was able to find a nice used Remington 788 in 6mm and the only two boxes of 6mm ammo available locally.., Federal Power-Shok Soft Point.Range day came for Dad's inspection and testing of his new hunting equipment. After dialing rifle and ammo on paper at paper at 25 and 100 yards I turned the firestick over to Dad hiding my smile. After his third shot he grumbled that he had pulled one of his shots off the paper. After inspecting the diamond with a range scope I informed Dad he had two touching with an estimate grouping of less than one inch. Dad smiled and went to work on another target diamond. When all was said and done, we had four sub-moa 3-shot groupings and ammo to spare for his hunt.Finding an older rifle to meet Dad's needs was an honor. Finding factory ammo that shoots sub-moa for Dad's new hunting rifle.., Impressive. Thanks Federal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by DON from I bought the gun that shoots this round about 40 years ago. It is an all around caliber that I have used on woodchucks and deer, and it does well on either, by changing bullet weight. The 6mm has fallen in popularity,so the ammo is not as available as it used to be, but everybody that I know that has one hangs onto it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JEREMY from Nice ammo. Only shot target so far, very tight pattern. 1" spread of 5 shots at 200 yds.It will be enough to drop my mule deer.
