The Reckoning is built on Danner's 851 last to be athletic and supportive while providing extra room in the toe, and features the Danner Vibram All-Terrain (DAT) platform: a combination of Vibram midsole and outsole compounds calibrated for maximum shock absorption and comfort. The rubber outsole delivers high-mileage durability along with multi-directional traction that grabs and holds at all angles and on all surfaces.
In short, the Danner Reckoning is lightweight, comfortable, streamlined and configurable to fit any theater or uniform. It's USA made, Berry compliant, and approved for uniform wear. It even comes emblazoned with the USMC Eagle Globe & Anchor emblem on the heel.
