CMMG® Mk47 Mutant AKM2 7.62x39mm Semi-automatic Rifle

The modular versatility of the AR platform, with the hard-hitting power of the 7.62x39 AK round…who wouldn't love that? And make no mistake. CMMG® didn't simply cram an AK magazine into an AR receiver. Instead, they used the concepts from the AR-15 and totally re-scaled them to fit into a true AK-sized platform. Carved from billet 7075-T6, the receivers are AK-sized, and hide a very robust AR-10-style bolt carrier group…so even though it runs like an AR (with rotating bolt and direct impingement system), the bolt can easily handle the Eastern Bloc cartridge. Similarly, while the lower looks familiar, it has been completely reconfigured to accepts any and ALL AK magazines. Pretty nifty.
